'Robot & Frank' and 'Valley of Saints' Receive Sundance Sloan Awards

As part of Sundance and the Sloan Foundation's Science-in-Film Initiative, Jake Schreier's Premieres film "Robot & Frank" and Musa Syeed's World Competition title "Valley of Saints" have both received the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Feature Film Prize at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival.

As part of Sundance and the Sloan Foundation's Science-in-Film Initiative, Jake Schreier's Premieres film "Robot & Frank" and Musa Syeed's World Competition title "Valley of Saints" have both received the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Feature Film Prize at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival.  

The Sloan Prize goes to Sundance Film Festival fiction projects that explore themes of science and/or technology.  The two films will split the prize's $20,000 reward.

Both films have been given grant support by the Sloan Foundation during their respective production processes.
