For the last three years, the SAG Foundation has teamed up with Film Independent at the Los Angeles Film Festival, held in June. The expansion into New York will help allow IFP members to see all films nominated for next month’s Independent Spirit Awards.

This particular body of voters has been responsible for determining each year’s set of winners for the quarter century since the awards’ inaugural ceremony.

Screenings, held at the NYIT Auditorium, will begin for IFP members on January 9 and continue until February 10.

The Independent Spirit Awards, hosted by Seth Rogen, will be held in Santa Monica on February 25.
