Lea Seydoux in "Farewell My Queen"
The 55th San Francisco International Film Festival (April 19 - May 3) will open with this year's Berlinale opener, "Farewell, My Queen," directed by Benoit Jacquot.
The period drama -- starring Diane Kruger ("Inglourious Basterds"), Lea Seydoux ("Midnight in Paris") and Virginie Ledoyen ("Army of Crime") -- takes place over the first days of the French Revolution and is told from the perspective of the servants at Versailles. Kruger plays Marie Antoinette. (Go HERE for Indiewire's review).
Jacquot will be present for a post-screening Q&A.
