The San Sebastian International Film Festival has announced its New Directors programme, which includes seventeen films from first and second time directors. The films will compete for Kuxta-New Director Award, which comes with a $127,000 prize to be shared between the director and the film's Spanish distributor. The lineup includes British director Tom Harper's new film "The Scouting Book For Boys," Argentinian director Pablo Aguero's "First Snow," and Mexican director Rigoberto Perezcano's "Norteado" - which won every award in San Sebastian's Films In Progress section at last year. The sidebar was previously included films by Francois Ozon, Walter Salles and Laurent Cantet.
