A new featurette has been released for Jonathan Glazer's upcoming movie "Under the Skin." The wonderfully unsettling trailer shows a wigged Scarlett Johansson as an alien luring men into steamy water and promptly murdering them. If that is not intriguing enough, perhaps this featurette will seduce you with its insight into the movie's unconventional filming style.
Johansson talks about her admiration for and bond with Glazer, who in turn promises an actress at the top of her game in a genre-bending film. Seemingly somewhere between science fiction and arty thriller, the film was apparently partially shot with hidden cameras, adding a distinctive element of realism.
To hear the actress and director discuss working together and catch glimpses of what promises to be an enticing, beautiful film, watch the trailer below. A24 opens the film in select theaters April 4th.
