Based on its "incredible box office" at Miramax's new Gotham Cinema
in New York, "A Personal Journey With Martin Scorsese Through American
Movies" has been extended to run for a second week beginning March 13.
The film uses the movie watching experience of Scorsese to take the
director through 100 years of American film, and is part of the British
Film Institute's "Century of Cinema" series and is a BFI TV production for
Channel 4 in association with Miramax Films. Following the run, "Personal
Journey" will be released on home video by Miramax. Box office figures were
not released by Miramax in conjunction with this announcement.
