Scosese Film Held Over At Gotham Theater

by indieWIREBased on its "incredible box office" at Miramax's new Gotham Cinemain New York, "A Personal Journey With Martin Scorsese Through AmericanMovies" has been extended to run for a second week beginning March 13.The film uses the movie watching experience of Scorsese to take thedirector through 100 years of American film, and is part of the BritishFilm Institute's "Century of Cinema" series and is a BFI TV production forChannel 4 in association with Miramax Films. Following the run, "PersonalJourney" will be released on home video by Miramax. Box office figures werenot released by Miramax in conjunction with this announcement.
