Seattle Lesbian and Gay Fest Wraps with Audience Awards
The Seattle Lesbian and Gay Film Festival ended its second anniversary with
an increased attendance of 50%. The week long festival, which attracted
over 4000 viewers, concluded with Sean Mathias' "Bent". The festival debuted
a new feature this year, Audience Choice Awards. The Audience Choice for
Best Feature went to "Ma Vie En Rose", by Alain Berliner. Best Documentary
was "You Don't Know Dick: Courageous Hearts Of Transsexual Men", directed by
Candace Schermerhorn and Bestor Cram. Best Girl's Short went to "Dinner Party" and Best Boy's Short went to "Horse Dreams In BBQ Country".
