Mike Leigh's biopic "Mr. Turner," which chronicles the last quarter-century in the life of the famed 19th century painter J.M.W. Turner, has been earning rave reviews from the Cannes Film Festival. Our critic there called it "a first-rate match of director and subject."
In a previously released clip, we saw a glimpse of Leigh's long takes and densely filled period sets. In this second clip, cinematographer Dick Pope effortlessly transitions from exquisite paintings to painterly countrysides. The full trailer for the film is also below.
