'Senna' Filmmaker and Yasiin Bey (AKA Mos Def) Show What Guantánamo Force Feeding Looks Like

In conjunction with UK-based human rights organization Reprieve, which promotes "the rule of law around the world, and secure[s] each person's right to a fair trial," "Senna" filmmaker Asif Kapadia has shot a video with hip hop artist Yasiin Bey (Mos Def) showing the procedure acted out daily on the Guantánamo prisoners who have taken on a hunger strike in protest of their detainment and the conditions of their detainment.

In its mission statement, Reprieve notes that it prioritizes the cases of prisoners put on death row and those charged with terrorism, because those cases incur the most violations of due process and ethical treatment.
