Sony Classics Gets "Italian"

Sony Pictures Classics has acquired North American rights to Andrei Kravchuk's "The Italian, the Russian entry for Academy Awards consideration in the best foreign language film category. The film is described as "a lyrical drama about a young child's complicated journey to finding his mother, his home, and his quest to determine his identity."
