Two-time Oscar-winning actor Kevin Spacey and producer Dana Brunetti of Trigger Street Productions and TriggerStreet.com, as well as writer/directors Adam Kassen and Mark Kassen have partnered to form Trigger Street Independent, a fully-funded production company, the group announced Tuesday.

The new company, which will be headquartered in New York by the Kassens, will create "filmmaker and story driven low-budget feature films as well as other related independent projects," according to a company statement, and will produce three or more films per year, with most being shot on digital video or HD. The cast and crew from each production will share in the gross sale of the particular film.

"Through our relationships and ever-growing filmmaking community, we expect to attract quality filmmakers and help them deliver digital feature films that will have a level of quality and a look and feel far beyond the actual budgets," commented Adam Kassen in a statement.

The group credited Trigger Street Productions and Trigger Street.com with allowing both Spacey and Brunetti to cultivate a community of emerging artists, giving the company a known moniker within the industry.

"We are thrilled about the possibilities of Trigger Street Independent and look forward to it becoming an integral part of the Trigger Street brand," commented Spacey in a statement. "We are excited about its potential, and the innovative and creative projects that it will generate." Sloss Law and Cinetic Media will represent the company's films.
