What are some of the greatest financial perks of filming in your state? We offer a tax credit of up to 30% against Georgia production-related expenses. Most every state production expense is covered, including in state and out of state labor. 

What are some of the locations in your state that filmmakers should know about? Georgia is a large state with very diverse landscapes and can stand in for most any location in the world - or just play for Georgia! We have everything from mountains to beaches, rural farmland to major metropolitan cities, quaint small towns, swamps, rivers, lakes and oceans.

Are there studios and soundstages that the state hosts that filmmakers should know about? We have numerous stages, including Turner Studios (Atlanta), EUE/Screen Gems (Atlanta), Mailing Avenue StageWorks (Atlanta), Atlanta Film Studios Paulding County (Hiram), Tyler Perry Studios (Atlanta), Raleigh Studios Atlanta (Senoia) and Meddin Studios (Savannah).

What can you tell us about talented labor in your state? Do you have robust union representation? We have a very deep and experienced crew base, with many union and non-union members.
