What are some of the greatest financial perks of filming in your state? 15 per cent cash rebate, no sales and use tax, up to 8 per cent, investment credit on infrastructure and projects.

What tax credits are available for productions in your state? We do not offer credits, we pay cash for productions. We offer 10 per cent tax credit for infrastructure (production facilities).


What are some of the locations in your state that filmmakers should know about? Iconic locations in the lowcountry, beaches. Can double for Iraq, Afghanistan, jungle, beaches, mountains as well as "anytown USA" filming 12 months out of the year due to temperate climate.

What can you tell us about talented labor in your state? Do you have robust union representation? IA and TEamsters represented. crew...2 deep

Are there deals that you have with equipment, craft service or other suppliers to make these services more affordable? 15 per cent cash rebate.

    New incentive rates for SC were signed into law a few weeks ago: 25% on in-state labor, 20% on out-of-state labor, 30% on supplies.
