As of Monday, the Sundance Channel now has reach in both Turkey and Poland, according to an article by Robert Mitchell in Variety.
AMC/Sundance Channel Global cut deals with pay-TV platform Digiturk in Turkey and with DTH platform Cyfrowy Polsat and cable operator Toya in Poland. "Both new Polish operators and Digiturk offer a VOD service alongside a locally versioned 24/7 linear channel," Mitchell writes.
The expansion is part of a year-long push by the Sundance Channel to bring its independent-film and original content to Europe and Asia.
