Sundance Closer 'jOBS,' with Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs, Sets Release Date

Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs in "jOBS."
While Park City audiences will have to wait just a bit more to see the World Premiere of the Steve Jobs biopic as the closing film for the 2013 Sundance Film Festival, Open Road Films have announced that they will release the film on April 19, 2013.

"jOBS" follows the Apple founder from 1971 (the year he met Steve Wozniak) through 2001 (the year the iPod was released). The film is directed by Joshua Michael Stern, written by Matthew Whiteley, shot by Oscar-winning cinematographer Russell Carpenter and produced by Mark Hulme.

Joining Kutcher in the cast are Dermot Mulroney, Josh Gad, Lukas Haas, J.K. Simmons and Matthew Modine.

Kutcher looks the part, but every part I've seen him play since That 70's Show has been Kelso with a different name.
