Sundance Institute announced today that they will be teaming up with artist and designer Todd Oldham to produce a custom line of limited-edition recycled bags and wallets, as well as accessories and apparel, exclusively for the 2013 Sundance Film Festival.
Illustrators and Sundance Institute alumni will also participate by contributing designs for totes, buttons, patches and t-shirts. These 'Sundance Film Festival Editions' items have been confirmed to feature designs by Lauren Greenfield, Mike Mills, Shirin Neshat, Stacy Peralta, Parker Posey, Susan Sarandon, Amy Sedaris, Morgan Spurlock, John Waters and Mike White.
Additionally, an art book titled "Sundance Film Festival A to Z" will include interpretations of Festival films and artists representing each letter of the alphabet by 26 illustrators. Artists confirmed to feature in the art book include Wesley Allsbrook, Morgan Blair, Chris Buzelli, Marcos Chin, Sam Wolfe Connelly, Alison Dubois, Daniel Fishel, (PLC) Jessica Grindstaff & Erik Sanko, Caitlin Heimerl, Patrick Hruby, Ricky Katowicz, Jean Kim, Greg Kozatek, Kevin Laughlin, Hillary Moore, Chris Silas Neal, Robyn Ng, Victo Ngai, Michele Romero, Yuko Shimizu, Dadu Shin, Mando Veve, Aaron Kent Warder, Jing Wei, JooHee Yoon and Bill Zandel with cover illustrations by Wayne White.
"Sundance Insitute is known for supporting and collaborating with artists of great vision, and Todd Oldham is one such artist," said Keri Putnam, Executive Director of Sundance Institute.
All items will be available beginning December 17 at the Festival online store and the Festival's merchandise stores in Park City, Utah. Quantities are limited.
