After announcing its film program last month, Sundance Institute and the O2 announced today its program of talks and music performance for the second Sundance London film and music festival, taking place April 25-28 at the O2 in the Festival Hub. Admission is open to all pass and ticket holders 18 years or older for all talks and music events occurring during the festival.
This year's Hub Talks series, in which speakers participate in a film-inspired dialogue, will feature a conversation with the creative team behind Sundance Institute, "Bands on Film - The Art of the Music Video," "Kickstarter and Creative Independence," "Film London Microwave - Producing and Exhibiting Micro-budget Films," and two filmmaker conversations with Francesca Gregorini ("Emanuel and the Truth About Fishes"), Jeff Nichols ("Mud"), Jordan Vogt-Roberts ("The Kings of Summer"), Barbara Kopple ("Running From Crazy"), Roger Ross Williams ("God Loves Uganda"), and Gabriela Cowperthwaite ("Blackfish").
Friday's music lineup includes Lesley Pike, Iman, Charles Bruno, and Luls. Olivia Sebastianelli, Josef Salvat, Mary Epworth, and Wolf Alice will play Saturday, and Public Service Broadcasting, Sam lee and Friends, Alex Buery, and Mr. Wolf will close the festival on Sunday.
