Sundance Sets Slate for BAM Event

Celebrating its 25th Anniversary, the Sundance Institute has announced plans for its new "Sundance Institute at BAM" event, featuring a series of film, theater, musical performances, panel discussions, filmmaker Q&A sessions and other events in Brooklyn from May 11 - 21. The fifteen features from this year's Sundance Film Festival that will screen include, on opening night, Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Ferris' "Little Miss Sunshine," Heidi Specogna's "The Short Life of Jose Antonio Gutierrez," Hilary Brougher's "Stephanie Daley," James Longley's "Iraq in Fragments," Michael Cain and Matt Radecki's "TV Junkie," Matthew Barney, Richard Prince, Marina Abramovic, Gaspar Noe, Sam Taylor-Wood, Marco Brambilla, Larry Clark's "Destricted," Ian Inaba's "American Blackout," Mark Donford-May's "Son of Man," Paul Fitzgerald's "Forgiven," Ricki Stern and Annie Sundberg's "The Trials of Darryl Hunt," Byron Hurt's "Beyond Beats and Rhymes: A Hip-Hop Head Weighs in On Manhood in Hip-Hop Culture," So Yong Kim's "In Between Days," Goran Dukic's "Wristcutters: A Love Story," Jody Hill's "The Foot Fist Way," and Laurie Collyer's "Sherrybaby."
