Reykjavik International Film Festival, running September 22-October 2, is seeking applicants for its Talent Lab 2011. The four day Laboratory is for young European and American talents to experience the latest in Reykjavik filmmaking and to network with film professionals who can aid and consult them on their debut features.
Master classes, discussions, seminars, workshops and films are included in the lab, where "education and entertainment will go hand in hand." Talent will be able to pitch their feature ideas and those with short films may submit them and compete for the Golden Egg award, and for a chance to screen at the RIFF.

To apply for the RIFF Transatlantic Talent Lab please log in to our Visitor Page and fill out the given form. Then send us your CV to firstname.lastname@example.org. The deadline is August 1st.
If you also wish to participate in the Golden Egg competition please send to our office 5 DVDs of your short film/documentary, with a tag saying “NO COMMERCIAL VALUE – CULTURAL PURPOSES ONLY”, no later than August 1st. The DVDs should be marked with “Golden Egg competition” and your name.
Patricipation cost: 45.000 ISK - Approx.: 393,56 USD / 276,89 EUR (as of March 31)
Included: Acommodation, breakfast, lunch, a festival pass and access to all lectures, and events during the Talent Laboratory.
