Longmire Ep 5

Sure, Sunday tends to be overcrowded with high-end TV like "Game of Thrones," "Veep," and "Halt and Catch Fire," but what do the other nights have to offer? Every Monday, we bring you five noteworthy highlights from the other six days of your upcoming week.

"Longmire" - Season 3 Premiere
Monday, June 2nd on A&E at 10pm

Absaroka County Sheriff Walt Longmire has a lot on his plate. At the end of season two, Longmire's best friend Henry ends up in jail after the police search his bar and find teeth belonging to the man who killed Longmire's wife. Deputy Branch Connally, on the other hand, gets shot while alone in the desert. If you came out unsatisfied after watching "A Million Ways to Die in the West," "Longmire" might just be the cure you need. For everything you need to know check out the season two recap on the show's site.

"Jennifer Falls" - Series Premiere
Wednesday, June 4th on TV Land at 10:30pm

After losing her high-paying job, Jennifer and her teenage daughter are forced to move back in with Jennifer's mother, Maggie.

Jessica Walters and Jaime Pressly co-star, with Walters, as always, sporting her special brand of sass.

"2014 CMT Music Awards" - Special Presentation
Wednesday, June 4th on CMT, Red Carpet at 7pm, Ceremony at 8pm

If you're really desperate for something to watch something besides Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals, the 2014 CMT Music Awards might make a fun drinking game. Kristen Bell is hosting so we might even be in for some good jokes.

"Orange Is the New Black" - Season 2 Premiere
Friday, June 6th on Netflix, all episodes available at 12:01am

For those of you who are late to the party, no one is interested in hearing your excuses -- "Orange is the New Black" is here to stay: it's even been renewed for a third season. So here is your game plan for the rest of the week: season one is available in its entirety on Netflix and season two debuts at 12:01am this Friday. That gives you exactly four days to catch up, as long as you are averaging three episodes per day - except for the one day where you'll have to suck it up and watch a fourth. If you're caught up, but missed the season two trailer, check it our post on it.

"D-Day in HD" - 2-Part Special Presentation
Episode 1: Friday, June 6th, on HISTORY at 9pm
Episode 2: Saturday, June 7th, on HISTORY at 9pm

To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Allied Powers' D-Day Invasion, HISTORY is debuting a two-part documentary that includes never-before-seen footage of the assault --

in High Definition, if you hadn't already guessed from the title -- that turned the tables on Nazi Germany. On the HISTORY website, you can watch a minute-long sneak peak featuring a soundtrack that bears an uncanny similarity to the one use in the "Godzilla" trailer. #TVDOCSUMMERBLOCKBUSTER #FTW -- seriously.
