AMC Offers a First Look at Season Four of 'The Walking Dead'

AMC's "The Walking Dead" won't return to television until October, but the network is getting an early start hyping the new season -- which makes sense, given that season three broke series records and was one the most watched shows on any network, cable or broadcast.

AMC's "The Walking Dead" won't return to television until October, but the network is getting an early start hyping the new season -- which makes sense, given that season three broke series records and was one the most watched shows on any network, cable or broadcast.

To whet your appetite over the summer, a foreboding photo from the set of the new season, on which production began on May 6th in Atlanta, has been released. Unfortunately, it doesn't offer anything more tantalizing than confirming that Andrew Lincoln's Rick Grimes is still the central character and, yes, there are still zombies. (Or is that Danai Gurira's Michonne there in the background, out of focus?)
