"Game of Thrones" novelist George R.R. Martin has launched a Prizeo campaign similar to the one launched by "Star Wars: Episode VII" director J.J. Abrams a few weeks back. Martin's campaign is designed to raise money for the Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary and The Food Depot -- two New Mexico non-profits he holds close to his heart.
Donations are organized into different levels, each of which have specific corresponding prizes. By donating as little as $25, fans can expect to receive a thank you note in the form of an e-card. For those fans with deeper pockets, donating $20,000 will not only get them a part in one of the upcoming novels, but also buy their fiction selves murder.
All donors -- no matter how much they give -- are automatically eligible to win a trip to Santa Fe, New Mexico to have dinner with George R.R. Martin and accompany him on a visit to the Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary.
