Shoot, I had something for this.
Let's hope the creators of the hit spy comedy "Archer" don't have to use their own line when coming up with ideas for two more seasons of the FX comedy. Eric Schrier and Nick Grad, presidents of original programming for FX Networks and FX Productions, respectively, announced the renewal of the animated show for two more seasons Thursday, welcome news for a show Indiewire's TV Editor Alison Willmore called "fantastically bawdy" in her latest review.
With seven episodes left in the fifth season of "Archer," or more accurately, "Archer Vice," the order guarantees a sixth and seventh season for the world's least secret agent. While some, including guest star Kenny Loggins, have questioned the show's change of direction this year, Willmore lauded it as "reassuring proof that 'Archer' can explore new territory while remaining true to itself."
Make sure to catch the remaining episodes of "Archer: Vice" at 10 pm on FX.
