FX announced January premiere dates today for a slew of returning and new series on both its main network and its new comedy-centric spinoff channel FXX, including the return of Emmy Award-winning drama "Justified," the hit spy series "Archer" and new animated comedy "Chozen."
"Chozen," which is about a gay white rapper fresh out of prison, had originally been scheduled to run on FXX but now will be paired with "Archer" on FX for a Monday night animation block. With the move of "Chozen" to FX, FXX will pair the recently announced "Ali G: Rezurection" with Jim Jefferies' comedy series "Legit." The scheduling announcements were made today by Chuck Saftler, President of Program Strategy and COO, FX Networks.
Up first for FX in the new year is season five of the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning drama "Justified," which premieres on Tuesday, January 7 at 10pm ET/PT. The fifth season of "Archer" moves to a new night, airing Mondays at 10pm ET/PT beginning on January 13. The series premiere of "Chozen" is set for Monday, January 13 at 10:30pm ET/PT.
FXX will launch season two of "Legit" and the debut of "Ali G: Rezurection" in February.
