Watch: Unpacking All the Movie References From Guillermo del Toro's 'Simpsons' 'Treehouse of Horror' Opening

Guillermo del Toro carved out some time from his insanely busy schedule to direct the opening of last night's episode of "The Simpsons," the 24th "Treehouse of Horror" Halloween special. The spooky segment was packed with nods to horror movies from "The Birds" and "The Shining" to del Toro's own "Pan's Labyrinth" and "Blade II" -- and it inspired German site MoviePilot to attempt to unpack every reference in the three-minute video. Check out the original and MoviePilot's annotated version below -- were there any they missed?

Just a guess, but I think the reference of Frankenstein, Dracula etc., chasing Bart on the street refer to the Aurora models.
