Watch: Rob Lowe Plays JFK and Ginnifer Goodwin Jackie in the Trailer for 'Killing Kennedy'

"Killing Kennedy," which premieres November 10, 2013 on the National Geographic Channel, is the second in the network's series of original movies about major assassinations, executive produced by Ridley Scott and based on books by, yes, Bill O'Reilly. The first, "Killing Lincoln," premiered in February, but "Killing Kennedy" looks like a step up in terms of scale and production value -- it stars Rob Lowe as John F. Kennedy, Ginnifer Goodwin as Jackie Kennedy, Will Rothhaar as Lee Harvey Oswald and Michelle Trachtenberg as his wife, Marina. We're approaching the 50th anniversary of Kennedy's death, and NatGeo's is only the most high profile of a series of specials on the event due out from various network. Does Lowe make for a convincing JFK?

Bill O'Reilly? Are you kidding me?

This is the official lie, and nothing more, children.

In more reasonable news, Richard Belzer's new book explores the cases of 50 witnesses to the Kennedy event that were later killed.

Hit List: 50 JFK Witnesses Snuffed

    Rob Lowe should be ashamed.
