"Killing Kennedy," which premieres November 10, 2013 on the National Geographic Channel, is the second in the network's series of original movies about major assassinations, executive produced by Ridley Scott and based on books by, yes, Bill O'Reilly. The first, "Killing Lincoln," premiered in February, but "Killing Kennedy" looks like a step up in terms of scale and production value -- it stars Rob Lowe as John F. Kennedy, Ginnifer Goodwin as Jackie Kennedy, Will Rothhaar as Lee Harvey Oswald and Michelle Trachtenberg as his wife, Marina. We're approaching the 50th anniversary of Kennedy's death, and NatGeo's is only the most high profile of a series of specials on the event due out from various network. Does Lowe make for a convincing JFK?
