Watch: Martin Scorsese Promotes 'The Dictator' Under Duress on 'Saturday Night Live'

As part of his "The Dictator" media barrage, Sacha Baron Cohen showed up in character as Admiral General Aladeen on "Weekend Update" on this past "Saturday Night Live," touting his own filmmaking prowess and allowing for no disagreement.

He read from positive reviews he'd tortured out of A.O. Scott and Roger Ebert before bringing on a surprise in-person auteurist endorsement -- Martin Scorsese, bound to a chair and electroshocked into praising his film while, worst of all, taking digs for allowing "Hugo" to have a two-plus-hour runtime.
