Navid Negahban, the Iranian-American actor who played "Homeland" villain Abu Nazir, stars in a bitterly entertaining new Funny or Die video below that takes the form of an informercial entitled "How to Be a Terrorist... In Hollywood!" "As Arab actors, we all know how hard it can be to live up to Hollywood's stereotypes," Negahban explains. "Being completely one-dimensional isn't easy." Negahban, who like many actors of Middle Eastern descent has been frequently cast in a certain type of role over a busy career that includes roles in "24," "Brothers" and "The Stoning of Soraya M.," offers up tips of the trade for playing a terrorist, like suggesting his students pick more "terroristy" names: "Kathryn Bigelow isn't going to torture a Carl."
