Netflix and Sony Pictures Television announced today that "Better Call Saul," AMC's upcoming, much buzzed-about spin-off of "Breaking Bad," will be heading to the streaming service exclusively in all territories after airing on the network.

For the U.S. and Canada, the complete first season of "Better Call Saul" will become available after its season finale on AMC. For Europe and Latin America, it will also be available shortly after its airing in the U.S. in 2014.

Starring Bob Odenkirk and co-created and executive produced by "Breaking Bad" creator Vince Gilligan, "Better Call Saul" will tell the store of strip mall-based lawyer Saul Goodman in the years before he became Walter White's crooked attorney. Saul will handle everything from parking tickets to mass murder, from slip-and-fall to bond fraud.

"'Breaking Bad' is widely recognized as one of the great TV experiences in this new golden age of television," said Netflix Ted Sarandos. "It has also proven very popular with Netflix subscribers around the world. This spin-off promises to continue its tradition of powerful storytelling. We are proud to be in business with Sony Pictures Television to bring Saul Goodman to our subscribers around the world."

"Breaking Bad," which concluded in September, is already available in all Netflix territories.
