Hank Moody, Galweather & Stearn and the Gallagher family will be back for another year -- Showtime has handed renewals to current series "Californication," "House of Lies" and "Shameless."
All three shows are up over last year -- dysfunctional family drama "Shameless," in its third season, by 22%; the Don Cheadle-led "House of Lies," in its second, by 10%; and the David Duchovny vehicle "Californication," in its sixth, up 21%. Production on all three will start in Los Angeles later in 2013.
"'Californication,' 'House of Lies,' and 'Shameless' possess highly distinctive comedic voices, and given that all three continue to grow their audience season after season - the pick-up decision was easy," said David Nevins, Showtime's President of Entertainment. "I am incredibly excited to see what each of these series has in store for their next seasons."
Showtime is set to introduce two new series later this year -- Liev Schreiber's L.A.-set "Ray Donovan" and period drama "Masters of Sex."
