Amazon -- which is in the middle of its second round of polling users about its 10 new pilots -- has greenlit another high profile piece, this time from David Gordon Green and Steven Soderbergh. Deadline reports "Red Oaks" is a single camera comedy with Soderbergh attached as an executive producer with Green, who will also direct.

Set at a country club, the comedy aims to be "'Caddyshack' with tennis." Longtime Soderbergh-collaborator Greg Jacobs and Joe Gangemi wrote the pilot and are attached as executive producers.

Green has plenty of experience with the small screen, helming 12 episodes of HBO's "Eastbound and Down" and currently serving as executive producer on FX's "Chozen." His next feature, the Nicolas Cage drama "Joe," is set to screen at SXSW this Sunday and be released theatrically April 11.

Soderbergh, who famously announced his retirement from film last year, has been busy on the TV side of things since then. "Behind the Candelabra" was a massive critical hit on HBO, and he directed the upcoming Cinemax series, "The Knick."
