Directed by Jacob Kornbluth, whose previous scripted features "Haiku Tunnel" and "The Best Thief in the World" both premiered at Sundance, "Inequality For All" explores economic imbalance and the widening income gap in America, with former Secretary of Labor Robert Reich serving as a guide to the issue's causes and consequences. The film was produced by Jen Chaiken and Sebastian Dungan of 72 Productions.
"Together, Robert and Jacob have given the inequality of the U.S. economy the knockout punch it deserves by exposing the lies being told to the American people," said TWC's Harvey Weinstein. "Funny and poignant, 'Inequality For All' is this year’s game changer.”
RADiUS co-presidents Tom Quinn, Jason Janego along with TWC president and COO David Glasser negotiated the deal with WME Global’s Mark Ankner, Liesl Copland and attorney Linda Lichter of Lichter, Grossman, Nichols, Adler & Feldman.
RADiUS-TWC purchased the U.S. rights to "Lovelace" Tuesday night, and picked up "Concussion" and "Twenty Feet From Stardom" earlier in the festival.
