Guillermo del Toro and FX look to be borrowing a page from the "Cloverfield" playbook with the first teaser for upcoming vampire series "The Strain," which ran during Sunday's "The Walking Dead" mid-season finale. The found footage-style video, entitled "He Is Here," shows a lunch at a sidewalk cafe getting interrupted by a swarm of rats and then the same phenomenon observed inside what looks like a courthouse -- ew.

"The Strain," which is based on a trilogy of novels of the same name by Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan, received a series order from FX last month and is set to premiere in July. Del Toro will direct the first episode, Carlton Cuse is the showrunner and Corey Stoll the star.
