"We live in a death-denying culture, and I don't want it to be that way." Mortality is a concept that is both inevitable and overwhelmingly difficult to come to terms with. "Time of Death," a new six-part docuseries on Showtime, takes an intimate look at individuals coming to terms with their impending death. The episodes are devoted to subjects who are terminally ill, observing them and their families as they are coming to the end of their lives. It is emotionally raw and unflinching subject matter, but ultimately imbued with a sense of hope and vitality for the viewer to never take a day for granted. "Time of Death," which comes from executive producers Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz, premieres this Friday, November 1st at 9pm on Showtime.
