"This is war... you never know who's listening." AMC's next original series is a thriller set in a world of espionage long before the age of Carrie Mathison and Nicholas Brody. "Turn" stars Jamie Bell (soon to be seen in "Nymphomaniac") as Abe Woodhull, a farmer living behind enemy lines in British-occupied Long Island during the American Revolutionary War who with a group of childhood friends forms The Culper Ring, a group of secret agents working to turn the tide of the conflict. The series is based on Alexander Rose's book "Washington’s Spies" and looks to feature all sorts of vintage tradecraft. Craig Silverstein ("Nikita") wrote and developed "Turn" and is serving as showrunner, with Rupert Wyatt ("Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes") directed the pilot and Seth Numrich ("The Good Wife"), Daniel Henshall ("The Snowtown Murders"), Heather Lind ("Boardwalk Empire") and more making up the cast. Check out the first teaser from AMC below -- the series premieres in spring 2014.
