Watch: Chloe Sevigny Plays a Transsexual Contract Killer in 'Hit & Miss'
Chloe Sevigny in 'Hit & Miss'DirecTV
"It's a man's world" as the song goes, though Mia, played by Chloë Sevigny in the British series "Hit & Miss," is looking to change that. Sevigny (as you may guess from the way she adjusts her tuck) plays a pre-op transsexual hit person in the six-part show, which heads exclusively to DirecTV's Audience Network next month after premiering on Sky Atlantic.
Created and written by Paul Abbott ("Shameless") and Sean Conway, "Hit & Miss" premieres in the U.S. on July 11 at 10pm ET/PT, after the premiere of the final season of "Damages."
What?! They couldn't find a real tranny? I know that has to be some transexual who can really act and would love the role. Is this another example of "gay for pay"?

You're an idiot. You don't know shit and Chloe Sevigny is a very talented actress. Please refrain from posting about things you don't have a clue about.

That's sooo inappropriate. 'Hit and Miss' is up to Ep4 in the UK and Sevigny is still really good in the role. And that's from a super-critical woman with transsexual history decades passed. The casting, acting, directing and crew are top-class, but the plot is ridiculous, unfortunately.
And whilst you got "transsexual" dead right - she has changed her body in everything possible but the reassignment surgery which she clearly needs desperately, probably because her sexuality is female - "tranny" is totally insulting (it is slang for transvestite and used by haters when beating us), and we aren't anything to do with "gay", whether for pay or otherwise.
