Watch: How FX's ‘Tyrant’ Makes Morocco Look Like the Middle East

FX has just released a behind-the-scene video for their new drama series "Tyrant." In a short clip Adam Rayner and Ashraf Barhom (who play Bassam and Jamal Al-Fayeedi in the show), along with other cast members, speak of the "fantastically rich palette" of Morocco, where they filmed the pilot episode.

FX has just released a behind-the-scene video for their new drama series "Tyrant": In this clip, stars Adam Rayner and Ashraf Barhom (who play Bassam and Jamal Al-Fayeedi), as well as other cast members, speak of the "fantastically rich palette" of Morocco, where they filmed the pilot episode. Morocco, it seems, is full of "mysterious" and "unique" facilities that build a "surreal and magical and poetic experience."

"What's great is that all of these different environments co-exist within this one pilot, with this very rich, textured, intricate world," director David Yates says. "That, for me, was very exciting." 

The series will premiere on June 24, 2014. Check out the video below:
