Watch: Joel McHale is Another Handsome Android in This 'Prometheus' Parody

Joel McHale gives Michael Fassbender a run for his beautiful robot money in this parody of the latter's creepy promo video introducing his character David.

The "Community" star flexes his formidable deadpan in this spot from E! series "The Soup," which he also hosts.

As an android clip show host, Joel notes that he's able to do things humans can't -- for instance, "I can watch 70 straight hours of 'Duck Dynasty' without setting myself on fire." It's a clever take on an already clever ad:

"Prometheus" opens in theaters today -- you can see the original Fassbender spot below:

What does it say about a society that can only draw on comic books as source material for films, or uses its most innovative new media technology to post parodied videos of other people's works? The parody is beginning to be over down on the internet and will lose its power because a nation of parodists can't create relatively original work.

    Very funny.
Miss when Community was of this quality all the time.
