AMC has yet to announce a premiere date for the final half-season of "Breaking Bad." Aaron Paul, who plays Jesse Pinkman, did let slip on Twitter that the show would be back on July 14th, but the network's refused to confirm that as official and informed HitFix's Alan Sepinwall that it was incorrect.
What we do know is that those last eight episodes are in the process of (and almost finished with) shooting, and that creator and showrunner Vince Gilligan is writing and directing the series finale himself.
The video from on set that AMC's released, below, is still tagged "Summer 2013" and doesn't offer many more details than that, but we do get Bryan Cranston promising that we're going to see "a roller coaster ride to hell," Paul and Bob Odenkirk mentioning that they will have a "pretty wild scene" together and Dean Norris talking about how Walter (Cranston) has been using and manipulating his character.
