"Saturday Night Live" head writer Seth Meyers is prepping to take over "Late Night" from Jimmy Fallon in 2014, but thanks to Hulu we'll be able to see a new series from the comedian and actor this summer. Along with "SNL" alum Mike Shoemaker, Meyers created the original animated series "The Awesomes," which is set to premiere on the streaming site on August 1st. The half-hour comedy follows Prock (voiced by Meyers), who tries to assemble a new superhero team after the members of the one started by his more famous father disband and retire. Along with being a genuine comic book fan, Meyers has a lot of famous friends, and the series features the voices of Ike Barinholtz, Rachel Dratch, Bill Hader, Rashida Jones, Kenan Thompson and others. Check out a teaser below:
