"Homeland" returned last night riding high on an Emmy upset that found the new Showtime show picking up awards for actor (Damien Lewis), actress (Claire Danes) and outstanding drama series as AMC's "Mad Men" was shut out for the first time since its launch.
For anyone eager to see what all the fuss has been about, we'd recommend starting from the beginning, but it is possible to jump right into season two, which finds Danes' disgraced CIA agent Carrie Mathison trying to pick up the pieces of her life after a mental breakdown following the apparent failure of her investigation into returned POW Nicholas Brody (Lewis).
Brody, meanwhile, is establishing himself in politics when Abu Nazir (Navid Negahban) comes calling again. Showtime has put the full first episode of the new season online -- check it out below.
