"You're sitting pretty at the end of the world."
"The Walking Dead" had a huge presence at San Diego Comic-Con this year, with AMC packing giant Hall H for a panel that included Andrew Lincoln (Rick) and fellow cast members, including newcomers Danai Gurira (Michonne) and David Morrissey (The Governor). Comic book co-creator Robert Kirkman, showrunner Glen Mazzara and others were also there.
The network premiered the four-minute trailer for the upcoming season (below), which gives us a look at the survivors clearing out and settling into the prison while The Governor, presiding over his settlement of Woodbury, learns of their existence and comes looking for them.
AMC also announced a premiere date for "The Walking Dead" season three -- Sunday, October 14th at 9pm. The 16-episode season will air in two parts -- the first eight hours this fall, with the show returning February 2013 with the final eight episodes.
