"My goal was... independence." Like Jodie Foster, Beyoncé is apparently deeply conflicted about how much of her private self to reveal to the world. But instead of a speech at the Golden Globes, the performer's decided to diva things up with a self-portrait documentary that will serve as her feature directorial debut.
The newly titled "Beyoncé: Life Is But a Dream" is set to premiere on HBO on February 16th, and includes footage the singer shot herself on her laptop as well as sequences from concerts and a look at her and husband Jay-Z's pregnancy and her attempts to conceal it from media scrutiny. We've said it before, we'll say it again -- this is so Beyoncé's attempt at a pop idol "Tarnation." Check out the full length trailer for the film below.
