"Your best days are behind you." Kelsey Grammer returns to the role of Tom Kane, the Chicago mayor struggling to hide a degenerative neurological disorder and battling rampant corruption, in season two of "Boss," premiering Friday, August 17th on Starz.
Created by "Apocalypto" co-writer, Farhad Safinia, "Boss" has a solid cast that also includes Connie Nielsen, Martin Donovan, Kathleen Robertson and others, though it's clearly Grammer's show -- he's playing a kind of anti-Jed Bartlet in a show with a much bleaker view of politics and power.
The trailer below suggests the new ten-episode season will up the pressure as Kane's illness progresses and everyone around him vies for position.
