Syfy ended up passing on the series back in March, while confirming plans to eventually broadcast the 90-minute pilot as a stand-alone movie. But "Blood & Chrome" will head to the web before then, where it'll be broken up into 10 seven-to-12 minute chapters to air as a web series on the YouTube channel Machinima Prime starting November 9th.
Said Syfy's president and co-head of original content Mark Stern, "With its top-notch storytelling, pulse-pounding action, and cutting-edge visual effects, Blood & Chrome is the perfect extension of the Battlestar Galactica universe. We are thrilled to see this hotly-anticipated event premiere on Machinima, an online network that is unparalleled in its delivery of high-class digital content to millions of viewers."

Yes, Why would Syfy pick up a GOOD program. Why not just add more wrestling crap to your network. Thats what the people want. Or more AWEFULL F grade movies? There hasn't been a reason to turn on that channel since BSG stopped running on it until this ONE gasp of fresh air, and these morons pass on it. Seriously, just close the channel, you aren't doing anyone any good anymore.
