The 2012 Primetime Emmy Award nominations were announced in Los Angeles this morning, and Indiewire has a complete list of nominations in each and every category below.
"Mad Men" and "American Horror Story" earned the most nominations with 17 apiece, while "Hatfields and McCoys" and "Downton Abbey" were just behind with 16.

The outstanding comedy series has to be going to "Modern Family". I like the "Egg Drop" episode where Claire and Jay's competitive streaks lead them to take over their kids' school project. I just started watching this TV series since I got the Hopper. My Dish coworker told me that my Hoppers PrimeTime Anytime feature would automatically record all of my prime time shows that come on CBS, NBC, FOX and ABC everyday in HD. I know have a lot more prime time shows to watch, and I can skip the commercials using Auto Hop.

I think this shows how much Martin Freeman has improved as an actor. Some people didn't believe in him as a good actor, but, when you get to see his performance as Dr. Watson in Sherlock, all those doubts are vanished away. And, btw, I do believe his performance as Bilbo Baggins in The Hobbit is going to earn him some awards, maybe some big nominations (Golden Globes, SAG and-or Oscar)...
