"Animals," created by newcomers Mike Luciano and Phil Matarese, has released a number of posters in anticipation of its February 5 premiere. The series was picked up by HBO for two seasons after the TV show premiered its first two episodes at the Sundance Film Festival last year.
Much like Netflix's "BoJack Horseman," the new series, produced by Mark Duplass, will focus on the hedonistic exploits of anthropomorphized animals. But whereas "Bojack Horseman" centered on the adventures of a rich, famous and self-loathing former TV star in superficially glitzy Los Angeles, "Animals" will instead focus on the downtrodden, the undesirable -- and in true New York spirit -- the ethically equivocal.
Read into the posters below before catching the show on HBO February 5 at 11:30pm.
