The Nantucket Film Festival has announced their line up for their 4th annual "All Star Comedy Roundtable," presented by Ben Stiller.
This year's guests include comedy icons Jim Carrey and Chris Rock. The event is sponsored by Ben Stiller's Red Hour Films and the Epix Network and will be presented Friday, June 22nd at 3:00pm at the Nantucket High School. All gate receipts will go toward the Nantucket Film Institute, the Festival's newly launched educational and filmmaking support arm. The event will be taped by Red Hour Films in association with Spotted Dog Entertainment for future broadcast on EPIX.

June XX, 2012 (New York, NY) – The Nantucket Film Festival proudly announces the line up for one of the most anticipated programs of the Festival, the annual All-Star Comedy Roundtable presented by Ben Stiller now in its 4th year. This year marks the return of a long-standing tradition at the Nantucket Film Festival, a staged reading of a high-profile, yet-to-be-produced film project. The 2012 event is an ensemble reading of Jim Taylor and Alexander Payne’s screenplay The Lost Cause. The cast for The Lost Cause includes Stephen Root(NewsRadio), Steve Zahn(Riding in Cars With Boys), Cara Seymour(An Education), Mike Birbiglia(Sleepwalk With Me), Mike O’Malley(Glee), Tom Cavanagh(Ed), Anne Meara(Stiller and Meara), Thomas Matthews(The Newsroom)and Tim Ransom(Win Win.)“NFF’s unique ability to highlight deserving screenplays is at the heart of what we do,” says Artistic Director Mystelle Brabbée. “This group of highly talented actors will breath life into this new Taylor/Payne project which is a treat for our audience to experience first hand.”
This year’s Teen View Filmmaking Program is being supported by a group of local “Community Partners”. The Dreamland Foundation, Cape Cod Five, and Don Allen Ford have pledged their support of one of the Festival’s most enduring and impactful community educational programs.
