Independent music, film and video distributor The Orchard has acquired the worldwide rights to acclaimed sports feature "No No: A Dockumentary." Directed and produced by Jeffrey Radice, the documentary premiered at this year's Sundance Film Festival and tells the life story of major league pitcher Dock Ellis, who is most famous for throwing a no-hitter under the influence of LSD. It will be available through The Orchard's documentary imprint Opus Docs.

"'No No' is a film that showcases a larger-than-life character, whose spirit, attitude, and fight against racism -- not to mention his excessive drug use -- embodied the Zeitgeist of the 1970s. Well-crafted, unique, fun, and layered, it is a film for everyone, not just baseball fans," said Paul Davidson, the Orchard’s Senior Vice President of Film & TV.
