Major UK cinema chains are pulling the family blockbuster from their schedules after a row broke out with distributor 20th Century Fox. The furore follows Fox's decision to release the film on DVD barely three months after its debut in cinemas. The typical release "window" between theatrical and DVD release remains four months, and shortening it is regarded by cinema chains as a big no-no because it limits their revenue streams.
